Embedded & Standalone Software HMI Designs

I led the end-to-end UXUI development of a spread of bioprocessing equipments and associated web applications. The program solved problems for multiple sets of end users, ranging from R&D scientists and engineers to production operators. These embedded and standalone systems represent a unique building block of continuous process. The systems also consumed directly from Bio4C UI Kit and Design System.

UI Kit & Design System

Development of UI kit and design system was a core part of the UX strategy for the program, given recent enterprise level rebranding efforts, I managed a team of designers and researchers to build the foundation of reusable design components. In order to coach autonomous agile teams usage of assets. The system is currently consumed by more than 10 applications in an international context.

Design Thinking Workshops

Facilitated a series of participatory workshops with SMEs, fostering co-creation process to generate exploratory designs and improve user flows. To align stakeholders across software team, hardware team, product managers, architects, portfolio managers and project managers and apply Lean UX practices.

Platform Information Management

To improve operational efficiencies, I led departmental interviews to identify user needs and pain points, moderated closed card-sorting exercise and proposed redesign of Confluence page based off user research output. The final redesign proposal helped improved content organization and overall navigation efficiencies.

DesignOps & ResearchOps

Led DesignOps and ResearchOps activities, creating training materials, documentation guidelines. In addition, by establishing UIUX best practices for documentation and task tracking guidelines, I improved traceability and team management.

UX Leadership, Manager & SAFe Coach

To advance the UIUX maturity and design thinking mindset, I serve the Customer Centricity Team Manager, guiding both Product Owners and UX specialists manage user-centric roadmap, ultimately ensuring that we are building the right products in the right way.
